Questions readers asked through My Shelf, answered from the ingredient base

Each one came through the box in My Shelf. The answer is composed from the ingredient base, with the reader's own shelf beside it where the note carried one, and checked by Maya before it goes up. What the data says sits under every answer. Anonymised, always.

• Asked through My ShelfMy toner and cleanser clash with the retinal. What do I do?The retinal is the one that matters here, and the toner is the one that fights it.

Have one of your own? The box is in My Shelf: say "private" in the note if you would rather it stayed between you and Maya.
