Where it fits in your routine
Give it under two weeks — that is when the change first became measurable.
What was measured, and in whom
Measured on: facial pore area, surface roughness and redness by standardised self-imaging, weekly averages.
Two independent 8-week studies (n=47 and n=57) gave each subject a 4-week no-treatment baseline measurement period and then a >90% galactomyces ferment filtrate essence, described in the methods as carrying no other skin-conditioning ingredients, twice daily for 4 weeks, with facial images captured three times a day. Pore area, roughness and redness were all significantly below the baseline period from the first treatment week onward, and the morning-to-evening fluctuation narrowed with them, consistently in both studies. The limitation is the missing vehicle arm: the comparison is the subject's own untreated run-in, so the contribution of simply applying a liquid twice daily is not subtracted, and all authors are employed or funded by the company selling the essence. The brightening and sebum endpoints the base scores are not what these studies measured, and the concentration tested is the neat essence, not the ferment percentages of ordinary products.
